What is your handle and why?

Huh? I live in the NE and we don't have monkeys, but we have lots of trees. LOTS of trees

You don't really need a tree to have a "monkey", or to see one. Remember that old question... Wanna monkey around. Oops I guess that goes along with alot of other monkey jokes.. :shh: :crafty: :beep::beep:

DOTRA is my handle. My dad drove OTR most of his working life. I retired last september from chrysler after 35+ years. Would like to do some driving like dad did. Once I do get on the road I know dad will be riding with me, probably trying to keep me out of trouble. So because dad will be riding with me I took the name DOTRA.

Well .... I got my handle from my first wife and codriver (Lil Bitty) I used to smoke cigars, big fat stogies. I would have one in my mouth all the tim. So she started calling me Stogi and it stuck.

We called her Lil Bitty cause she was all of 5'3" 90lbs soaking wet with rocks in her pockets. Lord rest her soul.....

first gear got the handle when i first started..would only drive slower than the other guys I worked with.Funny tho...i would always be able to beat them to the destination.lol.kinda like the tortoise and the hare

When I got my first cb 33 years ago, I picked Packrat for a handle. When I started driving a truck a couple years later, my coworkers changed it to maniac because of the way I drove. I have settled down quite a bit since then. No tickets in 15 years. I quit using a handle also. I'm just not into cb's anymore. I have a radio that will get out pretty good if I want to say something.

Rock & Roll Express, 1992 I was a company driver that had the opportunity to take over the payments on a 1987 Pete that had a great surround sound system hooked up with 2 100W amplifiers. Use to stop at the TTT in Tucson, AZ 2 weekends a month and they always claimed they could not hear my truck running over the sound of the music coming out of it. There was a bunch of us inside eating dinner when a gentleman ask me what they called me on the CB and the owner looked over at him and replied they call him the Rock & Roll Express. I've had that handle ever since

The TTT? You trashy trucker! ;)

LMAO, back in the day it was the place to be if you were laid over for the weekend or just didn't want to be bored waiting to deliver.

I was down through there a few months ago and it all has changed, the owners passed and their family is pretty much destroying the place

You do know thw Triple TTT ? don't you Bull, or am I really that old ? The truck stop where Jane Micheal Vincent starred in the Trucking Show (Blue Mule)

been a few years since I have stopped in there. used to be pretty active out there, that is for sure.

You guys mean the Tuscon Truck Terminal? I had a Tshirt from there that my dad got me when I was FIVE years old, and the first time I saw it in 96 I was floored that it was still there. Didn't stop though.

It even made a movie appearance once in THE WORST trucking movie ever made.

I don't tell people my handle, because then there'd by 10,000 people using it trying to be funny. And only I'm allowed to be funny.
