Think "cheap". You can get on for $30-$40, probably even less.
I can't live without one because I use them at shipper and receivers too much.
Now, my current radio cost much more than that, but I still have the cheap one that works just fine as a backup. I didn't spend more money on another radio because I "needed" one, only because I "wanted" one. I always wanted a big radio, and when I could actually afford it, I made the move. And since then, I have put more money into it upgrading it than I originally paid for it.
