What in the hell happened?

In Gord we trust!
What in the hell happened to Arby's? :dunno: It used to be good.

What in the hell happened to KFC? :dunno: It used to be good.
You used to be able to smell KFC a mile away and it made you hungry and dam was it good!
(actually I do know the answer to that one. They changed the cooking method).

What in the hell happened to Burger King? :dunno: It used to be good.
Now it is like cardboard on a bun.
(Burger King was bought by a Brazilian company RBI Restaurant. Brands. International. The same folks that bought Tim Hortons and the quality and branding has gone to shit!)

Anyone got any comments, beef or complaints with the restaurant chains I have mentioned?
Do you have restaurant chain that you think has gone to hell in quality or service?
Post it right here.

Wendy's kinda seems like they have not changed much. Good square burger because Dave didn't cut corners.

But Wendy's has gone to hell because, where is the salad bar? :dunno:
There used to be a salad bar at Wendy's.

Why no salad bar anymore? :(

Bring back the salad bar. :throwfit:

Last time I was at an Arby's it was still good. Probably been at least 6 months though.

KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut have gone to shit since they were bought by a horrible entity called Yum! Brands. I don't know anything specific about what they changed but obviously they've changed ingredients or something so they can increase profits and upgrade to fancier private jets and bigger yachts.

Whoppers with no onion and no cheese is the only thing I ever get from Burger King and I think they're still good as of like 3 months ago last time I was at one. But I have noticed they seem to be aiming low in hiring, even before the government decided to pay people not to work.

Wendy's got rid of their salad bars like 25 years ago. At least the ones in my neck of the woods did. The one I worked at when I was 17 got rid of theirs while I was there. The manager said it was because they didn't make enough profit to justify the employee labor at $5.15/hr. to maintain it.

I haven't eaten at any of the places mentioned in at least 10 years or more. The sure cure for fast food garbage is to just look in the back at what is preparing your food and you'll never eat there again. Rarely will I even go out to eat anymore. LongHorn Steakhouse is about my limit. Every place that did have a salad bar, doesn't since the Wu-Flu came about.
We have a pizza place here that brings in it's ingredients from their home store in N.Y.. That even includes the water to make the dough. It costs more than the chain dumps, but well worth it for the quality and taste of the pie. I'm not even a pizza lover and I like this.

Too bad there aint many Roy Rogers around anymore. Its hard to get a burger with nuthin on it without some kid lookin at ya like you just sprouted a second head

There's a Chinese buffet in Kankakee IL that is back to business as usual, almost.

We just went there Tuesday because Sarah had a doctor appointment at the hospital right by there.

The only thing different is they've got a plexiglass wall around the cashier counter and only disposable plates, cups and utensils are used.

The cashier counter is like a gas station in the ghetto, where the cashiers are behind bulletproof glass and you have to lean down and yell through the little opening you pass your money through. Except it's just plexiglass, and there's a microphone & speaker so you can almost sort of hear what they're saying with their (most likely fake) Chinese accent.

But they weren't enforcing the masks at the buffet, and everyone touches the same spoons & tongs.

I don't know what the point in using only paper plates & plastic forks is about though. It might simply be due to the government sponsored labor shortage.

that's why canned raviolis are the best.

they hadn't changed in years.

they stay fresh in the can for decades

they can take a nuclear blast.

easy to warm up, under your arm, on the engine, on the dashboard

never have to worry about a can of Chef Boy R-Dee.

I challenge you to prove this claim, or concede defeat. 😎

Quarter Pounder meal with no mustard because mustard in burgers is not correct. Six nuggets with sweet and sour and BBQ.

15 bucks.

And I was the only one in the entire building with no mask.

Illinois is a shit hole. All of it.

Mustard I dont mind. Onions on the other hand... :eek-64:🤮

I use to stop at the Roy Rogers on I 476 in PA. I liked that I could put my own topping on my burger.
Stopped at one early today on the Turnpike. got my burger, headed over to finish them, and some nasty dude was getting tomatoes out with his hands.

I declined toppings at that point, LOL.

Dude... You just referred to a quarter pounder as a burger.

It's not a burger if it's from McDonald's.

It's f*ing dog food grade mystery meat pressed into a patty and slapped onto a gluten loaf and topped with a slice of partially melted saturated fat and maybe a sliver thin slice of pickle or two.

You got ripped off on the price. You deserved it, because you were at McDonald's. 😂
