This is the newest version of xenforo, and I have no idea what all new features are in it.

There is a light/dark option that is now a stock part of xenforo. you will find the icon to change it on the bottom left of the forum. It can be set to light, dark, or to system (which will use whatever your device is using).

I think this new dark theme is better than the old one. More contrasty.

It is. It's not just black and white text. The quotes are orange as well as a few of the buttons and the options at the top of the post box are a nice soft blue. The store pictures seem to be a little more vivid also.

Yes, and it is all part of the default theme. One unedited theme that works for both. They should have had this years ago.

Trending content that showed up in the sidebar, and no idea what else. I haven’t paid any attention, just upgraded due to the work being done already.
