Yankee? He's in Florida.
If you look on a map, you can see that the southern-most point of Florida is further south than the southern-most point in Texas.
And somewhere between Austin and Waco is about the same latitudinal line as the northern-most point of Florida. And there's a hell of a lot of Texas north of Waco.
It's fun being a smart-ass.

My mom was from Texas, My dad went to Texas Tech, My uncle owned many acres of land in and around Houston and lived there his whole adult life and I have spent so much time in Texas that I could almost be considered to be a Texan....
With all of those connections to Texas, I still have no idea why people from Texas are so damned proud of the place because all I ever want when I'm there is to be ANYWHERE but there.

I was just going by what someone said in a post above. I don't remember the incident and I haven't read the links. I am not an Ozzy fan and I was out of the country in the 80's.
