I want to know why you have to have a collar like that on your dog? If it's that uncontrollable, then you need to train it properly. Have you tried the collar out on yourself? Have you felt what the dog feels when you dig those spines into it's neck and throat?

The dog is half Belgian Malinois and her german shepherd lines are 100% European just like her Malinois lines. I didn't get her as a puppy, I took her over after my daughter rescued her from a shelter and unexpectedly got deployed.
Further, I have decades of experience training police and personal protection dogs, including KNPV and Ringsport, as well as Shutzhund.
This dog, after surviving parvo and being abandoned and luckily revived as a young pup is now leaping 6 foot walls on command and doing things that a typical dog would never dream of being able to accomplish.
She is less than 18 months old, and her drive is absolutely nuts right now.
That said, she will hurt herself when she sees me put my hand on that collar before we exit the truck because she loves it so much. She loves it because it don't use it to abuse her. It is on her to protect her from herself. It is on her because stupid people own dogs and I need to be able to give a quick correction when one of those pitbulls you mention are wanting to attack, so I can make noise with the collar and she remembers she is suppose to be paying attention to me. So I can put her in a "down" position while I go talk to someone else about dog training.
She isn't a typical American bred German shepherd, She is strict European blood lines, and only half. The other half if crazy Malinois, also from amazing Euro bloodlines.

I had a Malinut for 14 years and yes they are psycho.
I see many dogs around my area with those collars and they are used to almost abuse the dog. Most if not all owners of high energy dogs have no clue about how to properly train them. If that is your background, pardon my intrusion.

There was virtually no interest, so just building out a YouTube channel for the Freight Relocators brand.
Which is a lot more work than I realized.
She is funny. I can leave the truck for an hour and she stays right there in the seat.

Ya gotta post "Doggy Bath" and Brushing it's Teeth after weeks on the truck .
Bathed her at a Petro in Ohio once already, but no way at the time to video it. I had a crowd watching me though, not sure why, the place is set up exactly for the purpose of bathing dogs.

Those look like some really sharp teeth it takes some guts get fingers that close up with that set of "choppers" although she seems take well to the brushing..

It's the trust in the human, by the dog, and the bond between the two that make you able to get in there and do that.
People say that you should never try and take a bone away from the dog. What? I givith and I takith away. I get the 'why?' look, but he knows that if he doesn't growl, he'll get it right back. When I feel a real steak bone is at its limits of safety, he gives it up with no issues. Trust, is the major factor there. He loves his Rib Eye roast bones.

I had a "She-Cola" that's Short for "Sheppard/Collie/Lab mutt or "Mix"..
Probably the best dog I ever had "Loyal" yet only my "Ex" could get her to lay on the Kitchen Table and pull a tick out without having her hand bit off..
When I tried myself she almost bit me..
Over the Kitchen Table my Ex Wife talked to her like a baby ..
I rubbed her belly and she pulled the tick out with a needle nose pliers didn't try to bite once
