Calling it a strike is pointless & stupid. But if they just want to run a bunch of trucks to DC for a protest like the bikers did, I'd support that, .. if they actually had some specific grievances to demand redress for, instead of just a blanket accusation of "tyranny".

We just got a call from some lady named Michelle here that they was moving out ASAP and was putting everything here in storage out in Chicago. We're just here to box it all up and haul it off."

Strikers WIN Huge Victory


Dateline Washington D.C. October 17,2013

To the surprise of almost everyone the American Truckers today won all their major demands with their incredible show of support when thousands gathered in Washington D.C.

The President has resigned as they demanded and the new President, Joe Biden, immediately signed legislation restoring the government to the constitutional design of our founding fathers. All, I repeat All, regulations regarding trucking have been suspended. Truckers and trucking companies are now free to operate without restrictive rules and regulations about hours of service, weights, trailer lengths and all federal oversight departments have been shuttered. States will now be able to impose their own rules and regulations that suit their own specific needs as originally intended by our country's founders. The Feds has also backed away from their oversight and regulating authority or interstate highways and bridge safety again allowing the states to set the rules and regulations that they feel are applicable. Truckers will now have to seek authority to operate in each and every state and apply directly to each state for that authority for each intended vehicle they maintain. While strike committee members voiced their enthusiastic support saying they could not demand higher rates for their operations, large fleet owners also voiced their support saying that they could now hire a million new drivers almost immediately now that the medical, physical, age and legal residence limitations have been dropped. While rates paid to drivers on a per mile basis are expected to drop quickly they will be able to offset that loss by being able to drive unlimited miles per day now. It looks like a win win for everybody.

Insurance company spokesmen were also quick to offer their support by noting that the end of regulations will allow them to increase their business as most trucking companies will need at least 20 million in liability coverage for each unit to cover an expected increase in claims from victims of accidents.

In other news, President Biden announced the end of the Affordable Care Act and a termination of the governments oversight of all social net programs including Medicare and Social Security. He did say that existing obligations will be met in full, but anyone not already enrolled in those programs would not be eligible for future benefits. He also noted that states would now be expected to provide troops for the nation's defense at their own expense as the national military, except for the Marine Corps is not part of the original intent of the founding fathers.
