Tornado in western Kentucky

Watching that and seeing people just mindlessly driving around getting in the way of people that did come in there to offer aid and clean up.
They purposely look at things that they know is going to be ingrained in their minds and cause future trauma to them. Then they want to claim PTSD. Unless you are there to aid in the search and rescue effort or the removal of debris hampering that effort, the general public should not be allowed to just wander around. JMHO!

#43 on the list.. The one that hit Plainfield, IL.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I lived 8 miles away and I was outside in the front yard getting screamed at by my mom telling me to come back inside because there was hail and stuff, and the tornado sirens were going off.
I think the one that hit Joplin was the last to kill close to this many people. Didnt that one hit at night?

Drove through Mayfield and Dawson Springs today. I was on the Purchase Parkway, so only seen the outside of town, but even there the damage was huge. The width of this tornado path was the largest I’ve ever seen.

It traveled along the parkway for several miles with damage for a long distance on each side of the highway. That was going north out of Mayfield. Went for a while without seeing any damage (only debris which was everywhere), then it crossed back over the Parkway at Dawson Springs.

More storms coming over the next few days, and once again, they will be hitting warmer than usual temperatures.
