Pimpin' ain't easy
@Snowblind today was one for the books. Didn't have a load this morning when I woke up. Got moving, grabbed a shower, and was grabbing a couple cups of TA's finest when a guy called me with a load. As much as I usually hate the Landstar board these days, the "follow me" feature for load searches definitely pays off when you need it. This guy called me with a run that ended up being 230 miles (actual) and paid $1k. The catch was that there were seven pickups before delivery. I thought it was going to take a hell of a lot longer than it did, every stop was incredibly fast. Guess it kinda had to be that way, given the nature of the load. I was supposed to pick up my next load tomorrow but I had time left to go get it tonight, so I made it happen. Thank god it was preloaded otherwise I woulda came to the place I'm parked now and called it a night. I spoke to @MIT briefly today and I remember him saying on TTR that he didn't get much practice backing when he was with his trainer. Hell this woulda been a great load for him. Had to dock 8 times, 3 were very tricky. Then a dnh. That's either a student's wet dream or worst nightmare Knowing @MIT as causally as I do, I'm betting he would have loved it. Wore my a$$ out, I know that. Hope you're doing well brutha. Cheers wherever you are. 'Bout to go refill this glass
By the way, you heard from the hermit lately? Dude friggin scares me when he goes radio silent for this long. It's been a couple weeks.
