Hey Hey Hey,

It’s the the eagle here. Perusing this place off and on and thought what the hey, I’ll give it a go. I’m not much for social media but I’m an experienced trucker looking to bounce some thoughts off others.

Got 20 years experience but I’ve been out of the truck for 6 months. Got canned 2 days before Christmas. Was there 3 years and never had a ticket or accident or customer complaint or nothing. But I got called in the office and the boss tells me I was spotted texting on my phone in the yard which was total BS, I knew they watched everything to a ridiculous extent and I told him I didn’t do it and even pulled my phone out my pocket and said wanna look, he said I don’t know how many phones you have, need your fuel card and your keys, Merry Christmas you’re fired.

I filed unemployment, they tried to deny it I had to fight for it but the state ruled in my favor.

But now benefits are gonna expire soon so I gotta find another job. Don’t want to really, I fear I’ll give years of my life just to be canned again.

Hopefully this place can help prepare me to get back in it.

I’m definitely interested in being an OO, just know trucks are crazy expensive and there’s a part shortage too, I’d be scared of a breakdown and waiting forever for parts and the bills keep coming when the revenue stops

Funny, but no I’m not Sinister. I read his thread bout getting fired from Wally and that’s got me thinking twice about applying,

Put things in line then to make it happen when the time is right.

I noticed today some rather reasonably priced trucks that had respectable miles on them.

If the "FED" is actually "Serious" Interest Rates are going 2 "Skyrocket"..

These days though ya don't need Double Digits "Interest" Rates too "Crash" the Economy anymore

Our "Economy" nowadays is so "Built" Upon "Debt" and Easy $$$ even a "Mere" Couple POINTS can now LITERALLY "Crash" the SYSTEM..

Everybody is so "Hocked" 2 the Hilt even a 2.5/3% interest rates would bring a "Depression" because So Many "LOANS" would "De-Fault" on Way "Over-Valued" assets..

When those Prices "Crash" very "Precipitously" the Damn has just BROKE and a GIANT FLOOD is gonna come "Wash Away"

Again "Not" a nice friendly "routine" RECESSION..

This time will be a "DEPRESSION"

This Correction is long overdue!
Over a decade of low interest rates and basically free money.
A correction should occur every eight years.
Housing prices are at a record high with low interest rates. Where have we seen this before? 2008.
People actually think they are millionaires and borrowing against their capital

But who "PUT" Us in such a "WAY"..

Sure "Nixon" abandoned "Gold Standard" in 1972 making the USA DOLLAR "officially" PAPER..

BUT after the OIl Embargo 1973/1974 we told Saudi Arabia and the "Emirates" ya "Price" OIL in "USA DOLLARS" we shall Sell Weapons and Give "Military Backing" in Return and that seemed 2 work "Fine" up until "Recently"

It's a rigged system and the citizens actually do it to themselves. They borrow money and don't save or invest in the good times and try to act surprised when a correction comes along. These cycles are very predictable.
Early 80's, early 90's, 2008. A recession is long over due.
 
Look @Electric Chicken I grew up "Broke" as a Joke..

Only last 20 years or so I made enough could "$ave" Up some $$$..

Ain't never gonna be a "Millionaire" ..

But the "best" Piece Of Mind Ill ever freaking "Have" is "Knowing" when my mind board finally "Short-Circuits" which it shall..

I "never" be STARVING or sleeping under a Bridge..

That's the BEST "Wealth" & Financial Security I shall ever probably "ATTAIN"
