Tamiflu? Really?

So...you get flu symptoms, call your doctor for an appointment, then go buy this stuff in hopes it cures your bout of the flu.

It takes roughly three days to a week to get over the flu.

It takes usually two weeks to get an appointment with your doctor.

By the time you get this stuff, your flu is over. So...what use is it?

My wife called the office this morning at 7:30 and got me an appointment for 10:10. Flu came and went.... then a cold or so I thought.

I've never had a sinus infection and hope I never do again.

If I survive I'm never gonna be bad again..... promise!

Ya! LOL. If God gets me through this hang over I will never drink again. He and I both know I am lying.

I get a flu vaccine shot... a jab a year to avoid the common strains. No use against the less common strains that aren't in the jab, but it at least lowers the chances of getting a cold when everyone else who hasn't been jabbed are sniffling away.

You wouldn't survive what I got. Makes a cold seem like a walk in the park.

I know what you mean. A sinus infection is way worse than any cold. And there is not much you can do about it. You will awaken when that sinus drains and be reborn.

two weeks to get appointment with doctor? I would fire the doctor. You should be able to get in that day, and go get the Tamiflu. Never taken it myself though, I refuse to take anything stronger than nyquil.

Two weeks to get an appointment? I walk in and they are going to see me. Right away and on top of it, I am not paying cash. Charge to the tax payers.
