Superbugs

I'm pretty sure drinking from a water hose in the yard does wonders to build immunity to virtually all diseases. Can't even get kids to drink tap water from the sink these days, LOL

Even when I was a kid prefered Kool Aid and Soda and Im pushing close to 50

My grandpa on holiday family dinners would say back in "his" day they just drank Plain old "water" and what was wrong with that

And if ya put Butter "and" Gravy on your mashed potatoes that was "overkill"....I guess in his Flat Earther view ya either got butter or gravy but only 1 or the other

Grit newspapers or March of Dimes folders?
:stare1:

Rhetorical question...
no chance that you remember anything prior to Prodigy.
;)

One of my classmates in elementary school was a polio victim...
so there's that too.
:confused-96:

I remember going around begging for March of Dimes to stamp out polio.
We had these cardboard folders with inserts for dimes.
They probably held 4 or 5 dollars when they were filled up.

I sold Grit newspapers as a kid and I remember asking customers to donate after they bought a paper.

Seems like I turned in a lot of folders.

You're welcome.
:)

:D

i too used to get Grit, by mail though. the march of Dimes is still going on. too bad, some people steal the jar from the store counters.

Grit Newspaper - “Hey Lady, Hey Mister, Wanna Buy a Grit?”

I used to take orders for garden seed too in the winter.
I forget the name of that company...
I don't even recall whether they paid in cash and prizes or just prizes.
It might have been for school or scouts.
Seems like I did it for a few years though.

What about the Unicef boxes that would take with you on Halloween, Did Ya'll do that?

Ya, Ya, I know but I was a liberal (or democrat) when I was a kid. LOL:biglaugh:
