Sarcastic remark goes here
There's a little place in a S/E Cleveland suburb, .. can't remember the name of the town but it's something "Heights". Anyway it's really friggin' tight but not only that, but you have to blind-side.
I don't remember why though. They said you had to back into the building, then blindside into the dock. The first time I went there, I remember getting p***ed off & having to G.O.A.L. about 114 times.
Then a few weeks later, I ended up back at the same place and the stupid procedure hadn't been changed. So when it was my turn, I had a plan. I had staged my truck where they wanted me, with the trailer doors facing the building entry, but as soon as it was time to back in, I pulled forward & did a U-turn, then entered the building going forwards so the docks were on my left. I backed in on the sight-side & it wasn't too terribly difficult. A couple of pull-ups, a hot clutch, etc. But I didn't need to G.O.A.L. once.
I got b*****ed at for doing that though. I told them if I had it to do over again, I'd still do the exact same thing. I told them their rule is pointless & stupid & makes things harder than they need to be, and therefore I chose to ignore it & will ignore it again in the future.
I never got sent back there. No idea if they called my company, cuz nobody ever said anything to me about it.

"So we'd know you were here and we wouldn't have to waste time waiting for you." was the answer they gave me.
