BAM! That’s how it’s done, son!
Rolling east there’s a clueless reefer op in the middle lane bumbling along. Tanker yanker in the right lane behind him. Trying to judge the speeds it kind of looks like tanker will pass reefer. Key up:
“Eastbound tanker, got it on?”
“Yessir, go for tanker”
“Are you going to pass reefer in the middle lane?”
“Eventually”
“Ok I’ll tuck in behind you and wait”
“Son, if you got balls to run, I’ll move over”
“Copy that, I got balls”
“Big ol’ 10 dash 4”
Tanker moves left, I scoot by him, pass the clueless reefer op, ratchet jaw with the tanker a bit, thank him of course, wish him a good ride and mosey on.
Old school trucking. Wish everybody had a CB and had a little more professional courtesy. Funny how the two top tier drivers had their act together and the bottom tier driver was clueless. Maybe there really is some truth in the stereotypical driver ranking....
