There is a long standing (mostly) friendly rivalry on this forum about people poking fun at each other about the type of trailer they pull and what type of driver that makes them.

It’s been around as long as I’ve been on the forum almost ten years.

If you’re going to get all butt hurt because someone made fun of your trailer perhaps you should consider this industry as a whole is not for you.

Once in a while, people are going to say mean things, okay?

Sometimes they’re joking.

If they’re not, screw em anyway.

Go lay siege to a Petro Buffet and it will be all better.

My dad used to even get duct tape on clearance sale and Id paint the lane lines with mommys white out.

The rest of us moved beyond that mentality in the summer between 7th and 8th grade.

Sometime ago, one of the mods - @Injun - posted that the forum owner wanted an environment that allowed persons in all segments of the industry to feel welcome posting here. If said forum owner wants his investment to turn into the juvenile environment coddled over on TTR, then have at it. You can find as many prepubescent flatbedders as you like, and allow them to indulge in whatever fantasy of superiority due to what's hooked onto their fifth wheel.

Anything else you'd like to bring up @Sinister?

I picked up a load of salt once in BF Egypt, Kansas.

Water softener salt in 50 lb bags on pallets, shrink wrapped.

Most of the trucks there were vans.

After loading I pulled up beside a flatbed to close the doors.

He had put like 40 straps over his load and was unrolling a huge tarp. And there was a pile of what must've been 50 rubber tarp straps all tangled up on the ground beside the trailer.

I walked back, closed the doors and as I was walking back to the cab I saw he was giving me the evil eye.
