Tonight I come to you from Merle’s American Tavern in Peculiar, MO. Right next door to the flying J at exit 167 on I-49.
Typical sports bar setup inside. Most brews they have are American and they have a good well selection.
For dinner I chose the surf n turf bites, aka catfish and sirloin. The sirloin was melt in your mouth good and the catfish wasn’t muddy at all. This place is amazing! Definitely will return.
Definitely recommend it! I give that a Texas sized 10-4

Forgot to mention the beer mug is 26oz. 2 of them and the dinner was only $22 so again I think it’s good value for the money. Wait staff was friendly. And for you dirty old men. Definitely some scenery’s to sees.

Now I dig TPB, but I also dig Letterkenny. I dunno there are some episodes that are funnier than others but I grew up around shirt tuckin flannel wearin Hicks from the sticks. So I find it totally relatable as well. My moms side of the family owns one of the larger dairy farms in upstate New York. (Jamestown area) last I knew they did have the largest herd of registered red Holsteins. Anywho. Go visit them it was all hands on deck for Chore-in and hay bailing, shit shoveling and more. Funny thing is most of the best memories of my youth are working on that farm. Anywho. I get where your comin from bud. But giving up Letterkenny? That’s a hard no from me!
