In fact, it’s rare that I will eat mexican food away from the house unless I stumble upon a taco truck with some folks in there that really know what they are doing. At that point, I will load up on some street tacos, or possibly a torta.

For a long time we used a pilot car service from Oklahoma.

One time we were all in an “authentic Mexican” place in Texas somewhere.

I wondered why there were not Chimichangas in the menu.

I was notified that they are not Mexican but Tex Mex.

That’s the first time I learned there was a difference.
