At my old job there were two shippers standing on the dock they were waiting on a 40ft standard box 8'6" to load. There was a container in the yard, and they were wondering if that was theirs? I said no that's a high cube 9'6"
They asked how I could tell from that far away? I said the black and yellow stripes.

You would see it better if the can wasn't stuck in a bridge and the picture wasn't grainy. you will see it when you are on the road next time.

If it's a sea can thing, I actually don't see many of those. You'd think I would but I don't. I'll be on the lookout though, if I remember.

To be fair, the rail ones make it easy (for DOT compliant English speakers/readers) with actual words "warning high cube" and I've been pulling everything 13'6" anyway so it's not on my brain to consider anything shorter. If I ever did hook an 8'6" it would take special effort to remember I can go other places.
