Northern lights

[Rigjockey]

The Northern Lights (Aroura Borealis) will be visible for some in Southern Canada and Northern U.S.
This is due to a solar storm. I can usually see them if I get away from the light pollution but, not like they see near the poles.
This is a chance for those that never see them to see them. Get out there this weekend.

Maps of northern lights forecast show where millions in U.S. could see aurora borealis this weekend

Americans could be treated to a show of the northern lights this weekend from a powerful geomagnetic storm heading toward Earth.

"The storm prompted government forecasters to warn of potential disruptions to communications systems, the power grid and satellite operations, but it could also put on a fantastic light display in the night sky."

I seriously doubt it will be as bad as all that.
