Point taken

However if I owned that ugly Astro I wouldn’t be posting pics of it and bragging over it

And if it wasn’t set up for flatbed work properly I wouldn’t be posting pics of it hooked to a deck

I even tried giving the guy some advice on how to set it up better in one thread. He used to pull a reefer so maybe he doesn’t know what’s he’s doing’s for flatbed work, I don’t know. I DID try to help the guy.
And what pray tell did you suggest.

New one on me.

I actually do have you on ignore, and have to unhide you to read your drivel.
I don't remember him doing that either. But when he's not being a dick he can be helpful. Maybe he tried to post them as he was being banned and we never saw them?

You need at least 3.70s and keep the RPMs up
3.36’s are junk

You could get away with low pro 22.5’s and 3.55’s but 3.70’s or 3.90s would even better

Get rid of those skirts

60” drive axle spacing

Couple saddle boxes

I don’t have the pitcher anymore

I think it's something else and he's getting a Charlie Brown complex

"Why's everybody always pickin on me....."

Let me ask first which engine is that with?

Any engine

You want to be out of the torque band so you keep the RPMs higher, especially off road, low RPMs off road is hard on the diffs

Lugging motors at low rpm is hard on them.

Drop half a gear if necessary to keep it at 15-1600 rpm. Shift around 18-1900 to keep it in the sweet spot

Volvo KW Pete IH they all drive the same

In..... one..... what?

I’m saying I’ve driven them all, CAT, Cummins, Paccar, Volvo

Maybe not a Detroit :confused-96:

You drive them the same to be easy on the drive axles off road, with high RPMs

This isn’t rocket appliances
nope, it ain't rocket appliances. for that, they'd have to have been made in Mexico.

@Sinister

Correction....

"@Ontario Outlaw rocket appliance guide to super truckin'...."
Do use know differentials work?
Think of it like a pipe wrench

Weeny 3.36s need a lot of power (long pipe wrench) to turn

3.70s use less power (short pipe wrench) or less power

The little spider gears in diffs don’t handle big power (long pipe wrench) when use are off road so use use high rpm to keep use out of the torque band (long pipe wrench)

Whatever man, it’s use truck to wreck. I’m just trying to help use out some so use don’t wreck your diffs
