You’ll want closer to a foot, 14” is better
That’s what I have roughly and I still get into fenders and deck plates
But I’m 13’6” with a rolltite, I can’t go any higher or I would

If I'd have done that, all my weight would have been on the trailer. Not 60/40 on the drives.

I remember seeing it because I was wondering how heavy those ramps were. I don't think I noticed the boxes then.

I think what skateboarder is saying is use need low gears so use can drive like a dumbass off road. Doing so will let use make a lot of noise and smoke so other dumbasses will notice use. Then if use do this use will be bouncing all over the place and will beat the **** out of use truck. That's the reason for no fairings and getting the 5th wheel up. Or use could take it easy and drive like use have some sense. Maybe even back up at job sites. Since use have switched over to the flatbed side use can train thousands of drivers how to back now.

Ramps weigh about 85# each. They are the big heavy ones that also can be used as load levelers.

They are rated for 23,500# axle load. So putting a hemtt pls on it is no issue.
