LOL, I try to read the bible pretty regularly. May seem strange to some of yall, but that is just how I roll. I often will read a few verses before going to sleep, or in the morning before I start my day, and having it right there on the phone is pretty convenient.

No I dont think its strange just as I dont think BW9 being a non religious man strange.
 
My 2 cents.

No way should there be a no holes barred sub forum. It just carries over to the general forums. This site is not a social forum, it's a trucking forum although lately it seems like a social one.

I would actually like to see more moderation and keep people and threads on track. No real need to ban someone but posts disappearing would be appropriate unless it keeps going then you can bring down the hammer.

I think there are many guests on here but don't participate for fear of being ganged up on just like ALL THE OTHER forums. Asking a stupid question should be OK. It's not stupid to the poster, they just don't know and that's why they are asking.

I truly believe this is the best forum on the Internets (Thanks to Al for inventing it) and mainly due to the fair moderation unlike other forums.
 
I have to admit that Cargo Commando is nudging me towards changing my yes vote to a no vote....Just because of the "attitude".
I don't believe in God, but I don't belittle people because they do and even though I don't buy into the whole "Jesus" thing doesn't mean I am without morals....I just assume responsibility for my standards without attributing them to "God" or whatever.....

Come to think of it, the uncensored forum over at the other site was fun for a minute, but it got boring pretty fast.


My vote is officially changed to NO!

I concur, and have actually posted about this to the moderators this evening. Many potentially active members are lost here due to premature thread derailments, and being treated like they are stupid when they are simply trying to learn.

If this is a trucking forum, and it is, why would you @Duck, @rigjockey, @catalinaflyer and a host of others discus stuff like flying airplanes on a truckers forum?

Now dont take it wrong....some of the non-trucking stuff like flying planes is good reading, other non-trucking stuff posted here I could care less about reading but to someone else they may find it interesting.

I think it fair to say that tonight may be a turning point at TF.

The other topics are great, just a matter of keeping them where they belong and not derailing other threads.

Turning point? Maybe so. Truckers Forum 2.0 lol

I think it is time to increase the focus on growth though.
