New here

I'm a 10 year owner operator. Only owned one truck. I like to work on my own equipment when I can. I'm running a 2001 Pete with an interesting engine. It is a 6nz that I have put compound turbos on. I've learned a few things along the way and always looking for what other people have learned.

Welcome.

What was the reason behind the turbo?

Clutch exploded, broke the input shaft and crank. Block was toast. Turbo and Injectors were what I did not need but I had always wanted to try the compounds with 58 Injectors, I have the 80 marine cam in there already. I just went with a state 2 head. Mr Haney tuned it for me, it's very comfortable lol let's put it that way

Too much torque for the pedal. More than half at a time and you're cooling it off. The injectors are dumping more fuel thnt it can burn in one cycle. Check your rail pressure over boost.

Ahh! Yes a am running an ECM that came from an acert engine. Sadly my 6nz ECM was traded before I knew what it was worth. Fuel pressure is at 100 psi idle and 120 at 1500 rpm.
