Hi, i'm Tom Williamson, I'm retired for about ten years, but before that I spent 52 years in radio and TV. I was Program Director in three radio stations, and a Master Control Engineer in several TV stations around Texas.

Well, Cowboytom, I'm about to be retired in 104 days after spending 47 years behind the wheel of a commercial motor vehicle.

Are you finally going to break down and try your hand at trucking? If you have a half decent body and your bones and joints don't ache, forget the truck and enjoy your retirement. I know I'm going to. The thought scares me a bit, because I like the steady income. Having to depend on our government to disburse to me what is mine is questionable, to say the least.

Anyway, welcome aboard!

Wow thats amazing 47 years, I hope you get the rest you need. Do you have any advice for someone just starting out in freight dispatching buisness? Unforunately artifical intellegence (AI) may wipe us out. I dont have any trucks yet.
