Rent-A-cop,Rent-A-girl.lol.I had some lizerds hide around my truck as security passed in Ohio Beaver Dam of all the places, all the names.I was freaked out because I didn't know what they were doing.After they left I got out and checked my truck to see if it had been tampered with.The same girls work that place all the time,Knowing this after having stopped there a few times,They don't knock on doors they are courtious that way so I don't have a problem with them.The one day it was colder than hell and the one craked out girl asked if she could sit in my truck to warm up.I had to say no because I can't have that and somehow I felt bad for her because it was so cold.

Once they get in, you can't ge them out. Next thing you know, they want 5 bucks for food, and you get to hear every tear jerking story imaginable.
I'd LOVE to believe 2xR's post, but by my experience, I think these people are little more than garbage. In most cases they've made poor choices in life, and that's what's led them to where they are. There is no redeeming quality they can offer that I cannot provide myself in a shady area using my own wits and common sense. I have no sympathy for their plight, and I don't like them. I'm not even nice to them when they approach me.
I have no objections to prostitution as a moral or legal issue.
But I think lot lizards are an example of what happens when something that may not be that bad a crime is totally demonized and pushed into the edges of our society. One might just say that in a round about way, that lot lizards are a reason prostitution should be legalized. And maybe abortion should remain that way also. If totally banning something, and a serious, sustained informational campaign (read propaganda) against it is enough to eventually convince people that something is just bad all around, well...people are going to do it anyway. Prohibition anyone?
You cannot legislate behavior.

HA, I watched this video a few days ago! Nasty, if you ask me.
I was running down 280 the other night listening to the sesame street channel. There are a few Truck Stops in that area and there is always chatter. Anyways, some doofus was asking about some rumor he heard that there was a Lizard making her rounds at the Petro. He was asking everyone man, I mean everyone. Long story short, we lit his a$$ up light a box of fireworks on the 4th. He kept making excuses saying he just wanted to converse with her..... LOL, what a d-bag.

I posted on an older board once about the Petro in Joplin, MO being a nice place except for the parking lot being set up for blind-side backs. A few days after I posted it I got a PM from a guy who said he was the manager there. He left his phone number and asked me to call him. I went ahead and called the number and he was really great. He said they were working on changing the lot over to regular driver-side backing slowly but surely, but the company was reluctant to fund the paint and time to do it. I was impressed that the manager was nice enough to get in touch with me and talk to me about it.
Oh, and my next meal there was on the house.

Holy sh*t.. i seriously thought this was some sort of joke. No, it's the real deal. I have hung out at that truck stop too many times to count but honestly never saw that much traffic. I mean, let's be honest, there are lot lizards at nearly every truck stop you go to. Very few are lizard-free. ;-)
That being said, I had the biggest scare of my life at the TA West a few years back. We were parked out prolly half way across the parking lot but you could see the driver's entrance from the truck. I got up at about 2 am to go pee, never thinking maybe I should wake up the other half. I just jumped out and headed inside. But on my way back to the truck, I walked out the back door and saw a guy walking towards me. It was one of those times when I instantly felt I was in trouble. I kept walking but I could see that he had turned around and was following me. The faster I walked, the faster he walked. My heart was racing so fast but I didn't want to run. So by the time I made it to the truck he was about 2 steps behind me. I ran into the truck, slammed the door and locked it. He stood at the hood for a couple mins and stared at me. Needless to say, I didn't go back to sleep that night. I have no idea what his intentions were but they weren't good.
Those two truck stops need to be bulldozed and start over. Disgusting!
Same with the J in Kansas City -- tear it down!

Kinda like being a truck driver....except driver pay is not as good, and drivers get screwed more.

I don't know what's worse: The women that sell themselves at some of these truck stops, or the drivers that sit behind their steering wheels all night long watching everyone and everything like hawks. Hell, whenever I come off of an 11 hour driving shift I'm usually anxious to get away from the driver's seat for a while. I could care less if another grown-ass man decides to get some action from a whore while risking jail time and getting his truck impounded.

You have to put it into perspective: as a group, truck drivers are basically socially dysfunctional. Some more so than others. Some are just plain freaks.
