You generally have a 30 day grace period to renew without having to retest for your license.

Just expired, I wouldn’t be too worried about it. Had it been suspended, companies would tend to get nervous and wonder why.

Still a "violation" though..

Most Carriers I ever worked for the Safety Dept is on that stuff n brings it to your attention 2/3 months ahead of time.

As for DOT Medical Card most require a Physical at Orientation if card is more than 6 months old or simply do it for every new hire the Idea being that it'll be good for 2 years but knowing "Turnover" how many actually stay the full 2 years
