What's up with deep frying them? I had a place do that once :confused-96:

Well, it's deep fried so it's automatically better. :D
You get that deep fried semi crust on the outside. plus it was a quick way to cook one. We did that if we wanted one for ourselves.
I like burnt hot dogs.

Campfire burnt.

You park the hot dog fork close to the fire so it heats up evenly so it's hot all the way through, then as a finishing touch you hold it in the flame until it's black.

You don't need anything else. Not even a bun. Just eat it off the fork.

It helps if you're drunk too.

I wouldn't even associate with a person that doesn't like burnt hotdogs. It's a sign of no character. :harumph:
Almost communist in nature really.
I also like them burnt on the grill when they split open. Good stuff!

Just so long as you got ketchup nearby for dipping. Who needs a bun

Naked hotdogs FTW

I go by Sonic sometimes and grab a couple of Chicago dogs,I think the last time they had quit serving them.I was disappointed since I love em

First time I had one of those was at Vienna beef picking up a load of $6 per package of 8 hot dogs.

Guess they are known for that.

Can't say it was bad. But I won't get the dogs for home.

Took a trip to Chicago years ago to watch a Ravens/Bears game. Stayed one block from Buddy Guy's blues bar. Shut the place down every night but we did find time to get a Chicago dog while we were in town. Good stuff!

people of She-cah--go are really messed up, if they think that's a good dog.
Oh they're messed up alright. But it has nothing to do with hot dogs.

And it's "chick-ago". That's how Kelly Bundy said it. I have the entire series on DVD. Oh look, a squirrel!

The only good part of that show was the ending
