Let's make fun of Minnesota.

Anyone ever run US 53? Looks like it runs mostly south outta Duluth.

Well, Superior. Duluth is in Minnesota
I have been on US53 many many times. It’s a decent 4 lane mostly. She gets skinny to a 2 in spots. I have ran 2 and 28 from the UP decent roads cell service sucks. I have only driven the US sides of these roads.

Oh and 61 about 15-20 miles north of Duluth.

I ran it once just from I-94 up to the beef jerky factory in Minong and back. There's a decent truck stop with a lot where you can do donuts in the snow if you have an empty trailer. 😉

Thanks man, 61 to 53 it is

I’m surprised none of these jokers made fun of me for carrying paper maps on the truck.

“Unpaved roads- check with locals” has a different meaning in Montana Minnesota and North Dakota :cautious:

For sure, I’m sure frost law is in effect. So some of the side roads will be weight restricted but you should be good to go on 61 and 53

I’m heading to Duluth then gonna try to wander over to 29 in Wisconsin

I don’t remember why but I’ve gone from Fargo across most of US2 before to get to the UP, probably a permit route

Does West Fargo/Fargo to Duluth to the UP make sense? I don’t remember why but I do remember going through the iron range a few times
