circuit city was supposed to go out of business in the usa. but i still get e-mails from them with sales papers from florida. so, i dont know if they dod or not.
 
I just got a virus also, from facebook(niece was on it) took it to the 'puter Doctor, dropped it off while I went trout fishing for a couple days, he fixed it and put this new super hi tech spyware on here, said it is the best, I'll have to take his word for it, 'cause I don't know a whole lot about this tech stuff
 
Well hopefully it works.My norton360 works great.Paid $70.00 for it but at least itll get rid of every worm out there.

You will never get rid of every worm. Or virus. The people who make the worms, trojans and virus' seem to have nothing better to do that sit around all day and come up with crap that messes with other people's computers.

Really, I think the anti-virus companies are the ones who create this crap so it will keep them in business. Think about it. Millions of people like you and me paying $70 a year for "anti-virus" software to "protect" our computers.

I did a test a while back. I had to replace my laptop, and did not get anti-virus software on purpose. I haven't had a single problem yet. Been over a year. I did get one of those freeware programs that scans for and gets rid of spyware. It takes care of the "bad" cookies that slip through. I use the Firefox browser and set it so I decide whether or not to accept cookies.

And I have $70 more in my pocket than I did last year at this time.
 
Ya I know,when I purchased Norton 360,I thought $70.00 was a bit steep for a disc but I got it anyways.

I'm pretty new with this laptop.I did'nt even know what wifi was untill a few weeks ago and now just found out yesterday I can get online without my connection card if they have wifi.Im here at the super8 and my internet is real fast.I just love my laptop.It sure does kill the boredom.
 
Good deal. I've got a weak signal here at the shipper for my phone. Just had a big fight with my trainer and its too stressful right now
