Is it okay to purchase expensive fuel... I think its totally okay pending... pending

Couple of words for you... jail time... if you have an accident bcuz they can trace your internet trail up to the time of accident so please don't type and drive and I'll promise to be more patient and wait for a response when you are able to respond. LOL
Way to hard to type and drive and the same time... I tried.

I ran 3 trucks as sprinters for 4 years. I fail to see what you're trying to say. More expensive fuel is just that. Whether or not it is spent in the beginning of the week or the end of the month or somewhere in between it affects your bottom line. period.

I asked my accountant before posting just to be certain.

You should try to find the cheapest fuel available. There are fuel optimization programs that will do this for you. You still have to fuel in areas where fuel is more expensive. In almost every operation, you should find the cheapest, at the pump price, by taking out the federal fuel tax. You also need to get the best fuel mileage possible. There are only two ways to put more money in your pocket, earn more revenue or reduce cost. They go hand in hand and you can't ignore one without affecting the other.
Simply great advise. I run my truck cross country at 62 mph and I get great fuel miles doing so but I Know I am going to have to adjust where I fuel based on the Fuel Tax System that's on Promiles' site if I am going to save yet more money. Funny how the more things change the more they stay the same. HUH?

I just try to buy the cheapest fuel in the most expensive states and buy more than needed for the mileage I'm gonna run in said state. I try to avoid fueling in Indiana, Virgina, and Oregon,

And I try to fuel where I get the best fuel discounts.

Ya gotta pay the fuel taxes no matter what. Personally, I'd prefer it come out at the pump and maybe have a bit of a surplus than trying to come up with a large chunk of change when it's due.

one foot on the peddles and one foot on the wheel and one eye on the road and the other on the screen both hands on the keyboard and mouse lol. called multi tasking lmao

I do fuel purchase optimization manually because I don't have Promiles. It's a little time-consuming, but I have all of the fuel chains bookmarked on my toolbar. So I can see what the ballpark rates are along my route. If I see something cheaper from an independent, and they take EFS, while I'm runnnig down the road? Even better.

But not all of them automatically give you Cash Price when using EFS. So I don't even pull off unless their Credit price is less than the going rate at the big chains.

Typically, I fuel mostly at Love's anymore. They seem to have the lowest rates and I get a better discount from them than the others.

Or just type one-handed.
People are always envious of my setup. Even got compliments from a Nevada Highway Patrol (he thought I should go in business making them, since I made my own stand).

Oh ok. I have a dumbphone. But I'm training it to do smart things, like give me broadband internet, anywhere in the country for $15 month.

To me, voice recognition, is something I do incoherently when my wife tries to wake me up!

Can you type your posts here with voice recognition? Do you use, or have you tried that Dragon program?
I just bought the dragon program have not used it yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes I hope its not like the old voice reconition software where the broad didn't know who in the heck you were half of the time lol I will give you an update once I use it duck and let you know how it goes.

Kewl. But it sounds like an idea for a new thread in the geek/electronics section. I didn't mean to hijack this one, but I've been curious about Dragon.

I bet a lot of people are curious about it.

I've heard that it takes a while for the program to "learn" the way you pronounce stuff. Everyone has their own little unique way of speaking and pronouncing words, so any kind of voice recognition software would probably require a learning period in which the thing makes you read stuff out loud while it "learns" the way you pronounce each word so it can recognize them later. That would be the only way I can think of that such software would work.

A couple weeks ago I was trying to pay my car insurance over the phone while driving on the Dan Ryan expressway in Chicago. The stupid voice recognition thing wasn't interpreting what I was saying even when I was speaking slowly and clearly like I was trying to talk to an illegal immigrant or something. I ended up hanging up on it and calling back when I got to the shipper, and just dialing in the account numbers and stuff instead of using the talking thing.
