At one time I keep services in place here.....mostly because of late hubby illness but now no longer need those bottomless money pits....they can keep all there ribbons and bows....portable only way to travel. Technology is ever changing.

Xfinity/Comcast wouldn't let me keep the intro non-contract pricing so buh bye they went.

They did make me a sweet offer to let me pay $10 more if I locked in for two years. :whip:

My solution was to switch the $49 Straight Talk phone to a $44 AT&T plan that allows WiFi hotspot. I lost 2GB of high speed data on my phone plan in the process, but I save $780 a year.

portable is the way to go now. besides there's really no money in video and it's a pain in the ass to sell and people always want discounts while the content providers keep raising there rates. the internets on the other hand costs them nothing except for the infrastructure. and customers can buy content directly from providers!!! what is going to kill video sales for everyone is when you see companies shipping set top boxes that get there content from an internets connection. we kind of hav that today with roku's and apple t.v.'s
