My truck AND trailer payment plus Ins for both was well over $3200 a month and I paid it off in 2 and half years..........but I gotta tell ya Cliff, I never ever came close to running over 125000 miles in a year.
Payment for Girly is $525/week. Other fixed costs $140/week.
Truck had just under 60K miles on it when I got it three years and one month ago. Today, it has 480K. I'll do the math for you.
I've put 420K miles on it in 37 months. That's an overall average of 2,620 miles/week. I typically take two full weeks off every year and two days off every week.
I am rested, healthy, happy and financially okay. I am able to buy the toys I want and save money, too. In fact, I'll be paying cash for a brand new motorcycle this week or next, and not some cheap rice-grinder, either. The best part is I'll have time to ride it and enjoy it.

I think it's funny, too. Doesn't make you look very smart when a Swifty can manage her affairs and business better than a lunch counter super-trucker.
I didn't have to buy heavily used junk equipment and I don't have to work nearly as hard as you to make 41cpm.....wait....I mean...55cpm. No, that's me. 55cpm, I mean.
Hell, I haven't made 41cpm since I was a company driver! Was that before or after taxes?

Im not going to jump in here and call this guy a liar about the miles, because there was a time in my life where I did miles like this. From the area he is talking about, he was probably chicken haulin. I had many 1100 mile days, 800+ was regular. Get the loads out there as fast as possible, pick up the produce and get back as fast as possible. And made some good money. No way I would do it anymore though.

first of all i posted for newbie's trying to lease a truck you told me that i was full of shit not in so many words people beleve that lease is a good thing i did not start any thing you did i have been trucking all my life. new bee's need the truth.It is not an easy life on the road these Jobs that post are lies look at the turnover rate in swift people think they will make a lot of money you know the truth why lie about it if i wanted to go back to work i can make a call and have a truck tomorrow but i have a blind child at home you tell me you so smart when your son ask you to stay home no matter how hard i drove still could not afford the medical bills ins would not pay so i had to pay cash sold my truck sold every thing for the best doctors they could nothing so yeah i drove aginest the rules cheated on my log i did what i had to wouldn't you this is my last post Drive Safely Swift
