I am glad I retired from trucking, with the way the courts are awarding mega million awards every trucker today is at risk of ruining their lives thru one accident.
as we all know a trucker is in most cases guilty whether they are at fault or not, and you had better have a LOT of insurance
and deep pockets for attorney fees!!!

the plaintiffs were awarded 10 BILLION because roundup MIGHT cause cancer, there was no scientific evidence it did but because some bureaucrats suggested it MIGHT Monsanto lost 10 BILLION

My basic minimum liability is 750k. Schneider and some others are not accepting owners with less than 1m to run their loads. I'll probably have to up it once I get rolling. It's about 3 grand more a year.
