Heavy haul drivers can you explain how this thing works?

I see these monsters every now and then on the highway. Can you explain to me how you control the trailer? Is it steered by the driver, the pilot car? Or is there no control for steering at all? And what in tarnation do you guys drag around on this thing? Thanks, Shane.

Steerable trailer......pilot car does the steering.

Pretty sure that's how it works, I never hauled anything this big.

Friend of mine and I had a discussion a while back on all the outlaw shot we did years back.
Multi stop window loads all over the north east...Load up in Maine the next morning, then be in Minnesota the next morning, then back to the yard for happy hour...start the round again Sunday.

We never did any chemicals we were just young fire pissers.

We decided we never gained much.
