External speaker problem with squeal and distortion

Replace external spkr wire with mini 8 coax and solves problem. The source is rf getting in to audio circuit thru ext spkr wire which is unshielded.

I once years ago had an older Cobra 25 what it was the jack was bad or got bent..

I took the inside radio speaker out and stripped the wires a little ran that straight to External Speaker box cord by snipping that connector off and stripping those too and wrapped electrical tape around em

Be very "Gentil" trying stop those inside speaker wires don't take much break em they ain't very tough so take it easy
