The plastic lines is all my boss wants run Sooooo , He pays for a spare set to ride with me at all times . I used to carry extra brass and couplers to try and repair a break but if they are brittle enuff to break , the repairs parts are useless .
If you're driving in the kind of cold temps that those things get brittle & break in, chances are you're also in snow or on ice. And when the red line breaks, there go your spring brakes. That's why I think the DOT ought to ban them.
