is it possible to do an EGR delete or is that against the law :confused-96:. I wanna set my truck to run off a blend of diesel and CNG.

thanks

Don't even think about it if you're operating in California.
 I will have to ask my friend if theres away around it and keep the egr . it would be interesting to see the return on MPG of a diesel and cng blend combined . I know that the DPF delete was def out of the question. I guess it will be another dredded call to the circus clowns up in sacrament to morrow as well to see if it can be done without tampering with any of the emmissions system

Completely illegal

If you do it, i'm tellin' on ya! ;)
i'll be asking my friend tomorrow if it's possible to do the conversion without messing with the EGR. running off just diesel and a blend of cng and diesel is like night and day:cool:.

I think i read somewhere if you put a resistor you can reduce it by a 70% or so without codes, but i forgot the ohms.

Cant you just put a plate in between the tube that connects to the manifold and block the gas but leave everything else working?

Im guessing that would be a "no" but i wonder why...

what I used for my 300D and that's what I want to install on my truck as well and my suv's. hell a 1000 miles on a 1/3 tank of fuel you can't go wrong
