Can a non professional driver, regular traveler, take a shower at a truck stop?

you canot be 100% certain the shower towels are actually washed, or just put into the drier.

i'd never sit down on anything in a shower room, as you do not know what the other driver "left behind"....crabs, gonorrhea, feces pieces, etc, etc.

i personally had witnessed a shower attendant at a southern trucks top wash the floors with blackend water, and then use that very same mop and water to wash out the shower stall....

you wanna chance the shower towels were really washed, and not just dried??

when you witness what i have over the years, you don;t take too many chances.
What kind of sleazy shitholes do you frequent?

That was undoubtedly one of the best things I have ever done. The hot water was abundant and scorching, no one was knocking on the door rushing me, it was glorious.
Thank you for allowing me to infiltrate. I promise, I didn’t vandalize or steal anything, but it totally smelled girly in there when I left, after applications of lotions, hair sprays, perfumes, etc. It was a $15 well spent and all the people working were lovely as well and they came over to say “hello” before I left. Faith in humanity and fractured spirit are restored. And I promise, I’m always the person that lets you guys over when you need to change lanes and no one will let you in.:D

That’s what it smells like in a shower when @Keendriver leaves too.

Some of you guys overcomplicate things. They usually give you two towels. Dry off and throw that one on the floor to keep your feet clean and wrap your hair with the other one. Use the paper floor mat thing as an ass gasket when you sit down to put on your pants.

Paranoid people should carry their own bleach solution in a spray bottle. Spray down the shower and let it sit for five minutes before turning on the water. That'll kill anything lingering after the last cleaning.

Weren’t you basically a line haul home all the time type driver?

Is this more ass-talking?
