I invested about a hunnerd bucks today and I done made over 10,000 satochi.
o_O

Pretty sure I'm just gonna go ahead and retire now.
:biggrin-2:

I would pay you a coupla thousand satochi for a dog like it was nothing.
I got some great retirement swam... err, property. Yeah, retirement property in Florida. Sell it to ya cheap!

:biggrin-2:

I am trying to buy this bitcoin. I only want to throw 100 bucks at it and see where it goes. Kind of like you do with a slot machine.

Damn! they do not make it easy to buy this shit! I got the wallet all set up and ready to buy and then find out they do not take my card for it, So for me to buy I would need to go get a prepaid card.
My other option is to go to a bitcoin ATM.
they have one right down the road from me. I am not sure how legit it is and they take 33% off the top. Not cool man.

The $100 on slots is about the same thing I did.
I used coinbase.com.
You have to setup their wallet, then you have to setup a hard wallet somewhere else if you want it in an account that can't be tracked or traced.
Personally, I doubt that it can't be tracked or traced but that's what I read.

It went over $10k last night.
I just opened my coinbase when I read your post and it was down to 9950.
Now it's 9900.
:panic:

:biggrin-2:

If you do the coinbase thing they lock in the price at time of request so if it's going down you lose money before it ever gets to your wallet and vice-versa if it's going up.

$9840
:eek-64:

Yeah I was trying to use coinbase at first but their site was down today.

I go to a site where they show the price on a graph for what ever duration you choose. I think it was up over $11000 and then dropped back down again.
When I was trying to buy it was around where you say 9900-9800

I got to coinbase from a link on 99bitcoins.com and they gave me a $10 referral in bitcoin.
I didn't know that was an option at the time but if you're going to do it you might as well go to 99bitcoins and hit the link.
They charge $1 for the transaction if it's directly from your account plus 2.5% if you use a cc.

Damn!
You'd have to get from $10k to $15k just to break even!!
:stare2:
Meh, a hunnit bucks. I can be in it for the long haul or if things go the way I think they are going to go economically speaking, I can dump it.

That is the main reason why I want my account on my smart phone and not my laptop or from the ATM. This thing seems very volatile.
I am mostly on news radio when i am in the truck so if I hear it is starting to tank I can cash out.

I am also IN!
I bought in today for around 9700 that is high but still lower than the 10610 it was earlier.
I was going wait for it to drop further as they say it might over the weekend but I decided to buy in any way when I was reading this.
Nasdaq Plans to Introduce Bitcoin Futures

And something else that I just caught the tail end of on the radio.

So here goes nothing. I plunked down $100 USD and we shall see where it goes, Give 'er!
