Best Prepay Phones w/internet

Here's one of them Faraday sleeve ads I've been seeing

Protects from "Hackers" but ya can't use your phone

I know @Duck ya still have the "Flip-Phone" and subscription to Chain Truckstop WIFI that can barely hit the parking lot to run that Compaq laptop

Yeah my contract phone is AT&T. It works 95% of the time but sometimes it just doesn’t and I’ll even be on a main highway and I can see a cell tower 100 yards away and I’m like well I guess that’s a Verizon Tower. So a prepay that runs on Verizon would be ideal.

T-Mobile is hands down the worse.

Satellite phones I believe are pricey, not sure if they even have Internet.
sat phones are the worst. they have internets but is like back from the old AOL days. there not cheap either and then theres a 30 second dely because you have to have scottie beam you up :biggrin-2: . i could see having one if you were in the dersert broke down. other than that there just not worth it

Just want one phone. I mean I’ve heard there are some that use Verizon towers and such and are reliable. Would rather not have to show ID to register it. Just want to buy a reliable phone in a box w/internet
another thing is prepaid phones are prioritized over post pay phones as well and verizons good for it

save the money and just turn the sob off :biggrin-2:
Unfortunately these days a Cellular Phone and Internet is "almost" a "Necceity " to Even Function "within" Society.

I'm with you though I miss the 80s and 1990s and my Cassette Tape answering Machine..

For "Fun' me & my "Ex" we used to record goofy message and people call us a "Laugh" and Laugh even Buy us Drinks at the bar over our Answering Machine jokes

Sony had better Quality Picture and Sound..

But the Middle 1980s "VHS" got "Mass Produced" so much it became the "Standard"

i loved my trinitrons best PQ sound quality. and you could not kill em they ran for ever. i asked a repair shop what the best t.v. was and they said sony to this day. i just picked up and 85 inch for 1,400.00 smackers. at best but that's a steal!!! the dam thing looks almost as good an OLED you can't tell the difference. as i wasn't goning to buy a tv that i have to babysit with burn in issues later on. i had a JVC set back in the day the biggest POS i ever owned in my life:mad:. i'm glad idon't have to set a vcr up for recordings no more that was a PIA now i just just the guide find what i want and hit the record botton :biggrin-2:

Video Discs is all they were called.

The Sony Proprietary thing you're talking about was called Betamax. It also had better picture quality than VHS. VHS was simply cheaper to mass produce.
