Curious as to whats the hardest backing youve ever had to do reefer has alot of difficult places they like sending u to god awful warehouses thats barely bigenough for straightrucks let alone 18 wheelers but the backing ive had doesnt even compare to this company imdelivering in chicago inside dock with only an inch error room on both sides of trl finally after 3 hrs of hell and stress i parked it and was about to give up but after sitting an hr and calmed down i thought id give it one more try and i aced it it was easy once i was more relaxed and just took my time this was an inside dock with dam poles on both sides cars everywhere only way to make it is hop the curb ppl across was worried about their precious lawn well i didnt even touch the lawn

I've been to a place in Pa like that. One side the wall and the other side a 30-40 ft drop into a river. And it was snowing at the time also. The scenary was incredible.

Sounds like a place I went to last yr in PITTSburgh. Can't remember the name, but I had to back into a biulding with concrete on each side IN a blindside turn, with no lights on inside the place. The far side of the lot was a dip into the river. Well, if you went over the R/R tracks, anyway.

I used to deliver to Family Dollar. They're often real tight. There were 2 other places I've been to which were worse individually, but that series was enough to tick off just about anyone. Whoever's delivered for them in the SE and been talladega will never forget it, that's for sure. And there's a store in Panama City(or close) where they have a dedicated 45' trailer... That's tight for a company who's trying to go all 53's.

All I know so far is it's somewhere in indiana lol broker is going to give me all the ld info tomorrow.I'm delivering a ld of steel yesterday 2 stops.Well 2nd stop they only had 1 pallet.I spent an hr trying to back into there stupid inside dock,cars everywhere there day trks.Made it for very difficult backing,finally I set my bks walked inside and politely and sweetly ask the fork lift guy if he could please bring your forklift outside and get that pallet off the trailer since it's only i pallet of steel and he did.Thank god it was sitting close to the trl doors otherwise his forklift wouldnt have been able to reach it and I would have had to back into that dock.-I get alot of inside docks that is like looking into a black hols u have to have your tires right on the yellow line.Yesterdays dock not only vehicles everywhere but those stupid poles on both sides and to even make it more harder they had 2 huge rocks on both sides,your trl tires is just skimming it.Finally I gave up and asked them to take that stupid pallet off of trailer from the parking lot.LOL

Every ld I get is broker load this is for USA logistics.Don't know exactly where i'm taking it till tomorrow.All I know is it's somewhere in Indiana.I pick it up at 3 pm close to my home where i'm at now and it does'nt deliver till 6 am mon.So i'm picking it up tomorrow then come back home till saturday.

No offense you're not trained to deliver at them. They have dedicated(merely a title) drivers to do that.

Not trained to deliver where?Just because I hauled steeel does'nt mean it has to be hauled on flatbed.Don't have a clue what you're talking about.Do u think all steel lumber ect is hauled just by flatbedders.No offense but u don't even know where I delivered to.They are not dedicated places.

Why is everyone so sensitive around here?

You will not deliver to a store. They have dedicated drivers to deliver to stores. What else needs to be explained? I don't care where you delivered, I know the procedure for delivering to family dollar. I did it more times than I really care to remember.

Oh family dollar I was talking about where I delivered and u said i'm not trained thought u meant where I delivered. Well all I know is it's some family dollar store tomorrow I was told that today so maybe some stores are'nt dedicated.Unless the broker got it wrong.I'll know more tomorrow.

The Family Dollar DC is never a problem getting in and out. I meant stores, where things get tight. I don't miss those loads.

Every company ive drove for theres always been a cust here and there with challenging backing but none of those places even compare to the backing ido with this company but u know what its getting easier and easier for all u new drivers 2 things when backing dont overthink it and most importantly relax
