No name for it yet. Says a smaller storm will lead in and then boom, a major player will dump.

When I open weatherbug it gives me current conditions that are almost never accurate.

The information comes from some instruments on the roof of the local high school.

I was wondering why it always reads 10-15 degrees warmer in the daytime than my thermometers here read. And wind is always reported to be about 1/3rd what it really is..
The thermometer, although shaded by a cone shaped thing, is one foot above the black tar roof. And the wind speed gauge is on a corner of the building 20 feet from some trees.

Really? I mean, that’s cool, stay safe n all. I ran all last winter when PA closed the interstates. I wouldn’t run the toll roads anyway didn’t fuss me none, I dont generally use toll roads

That sure does suck if you are running I 90 east because that lake effect starts in Erie, Pa. and don't stop until well after Buffalo.

While I have much respect for anyone running the west coast, PA backroads are a challenge.

It’s hard to compare east coast to west coast.

Sure, maybe let’s not compare Florida to Colorado for difficulty, but PA has some NASTY two lane for hills grades n switchbacks

Out of route effects my paycheck. When the ban goes into effect, the company will send out a message to stop movement in PA. (The ban starts tomorrow at noon) so I’ll just hang here and Sunday morning after my 34 I’ll head that way. By the time I get to PA the ban should be lifted.

Yeah I have a bunch of family in the Erie/Buffalo area.

I used to spend every Christmas in Sinclairville NY we would have to help shovel off the barns and stuff.
