Another big storm

Thanks for your support of what we do. We really appreciate that.
Yeah your nick sure was familiar to me but I guess I have not
read enough of your posts to determine your gender.

😊Here I was scrambling to see your gender in your profile, but I guess that feature is disabled.
Thanks......I am much like Casper the ghost......šŸ‘»....there is a lot of good people that comes to this forum.

My wife save my life. I seen I could put full trust in her, and it changed my life. If you have a good woman, never put her in a corner. Let her do what she does well and you will reap huge rewards.
Storms will come and go in life.....never look back at what cannot be changed. You got a good thing going keep it rolling.....my late honey and I built and had together what most people only dream of.

They use the movers guide or what ever. The fed says from city a to city b is 750 miles. Every mile over that starts building your percentage of out of route. They don’t tell you how to drive it you can take whatever route you want but try to keep you’re mileage down. I average about 5% out of route for a month.
Damn. Nobody tells us how to get places either and I'm -2% out of route. Every time they send me to Palmyra or York, I take the short way.

I bid things more concerned about getting the load off my truck as fast as possible. If the "shortcut" is more than 6-7 hours longer, it's not a short cut. My time is more valuable.

When I open weatherbug it gives me current conditions that are almost never accurate.

The information comes from some instruments on the roof of the local high school.

I was wondering why it always reads 10-15 degrees warmer in the daytime than my thermometers here read. And wind is always reported to be about 1/3rd what it really is..
The thermometer, although shaded by a cone shaped thing, is one foot above the black tar roof. And the wind speed gauge is on a corner of the building 20 feet from some trees. :bonk:

I always wonderd that too...

My Thermometer on the porch is almost always 10 degrees beyond the News ...

My dashboard guage runs within 5 or so of the News weather

Back in the mid to late 2000's when I was driving Volvos all the time I noticed the temp gauge would always rise like 20-30 degrees within a few minutes when you stop. The location of the sensor matters.
