American's Protest Around the Country...

Just a reminder TTW,
I think there is strength in unity and numbers,so this is good. Protests all on the same day would be impressive. If some happened a little sooner or later it would get media attention - maybe more as if a wave was rolling across the country. Like any battle plan some adjustments are inevitable, don't worry.
Also as SS reminded us a pedestrian protest can be done without permit on ANY day (Aug 27th) So if there are multiple driving protests at the end of Aug with driving/pedestrian protests on Aug 27th in capitals this is still our plan-just more of it. So like I said don't sweat the small stuff let's just do our best.

we still have know clue as to what they are talking about as far as a protest. Just that they and I'm not saying this in a bad way, posted right after we made the announcement.

But if it scares our government into listening to the will of the people then we've accomplished at least one of our goals - maybe the most important one. That they are employed to serve the people and to listen when we speak. Then when we say do this or that - they'll do it.

I know what you are saying. Here is my concern: If we start putting out a date plastering it everywhere and they put out a different date then it will become confusing for people. That is my only concern. That is why we should take a vote on it and i'll go along with the majority.

We're all still agreed the only thing I'm saying is when different groups or people have different dates don't sweat it or think that they're gonna screw us up. Don't worry about it. We're all working to get this country back on track. If we can get everyone at once - great. If others do it different - just let it happen and remember we can't predict the future. Im suprised the truck stops and fuel stations wouldn't somewhat support putting the flyers up on their pumps since they don't really benefit from high fuel prices. Especialy smaller non-large corporation owned places. They don't rely on fuel sales to keep them open, but rather fuel sales to get you in the door so you buy something from their stores. Thats how they make their money.

What I do is walk in bathroom with flyers and roll of tape, put'em in stalls or by paper towels and leave. If they come down, ijust put'em back up.

All we are waiting on to get started is for S.S. to create the flyer and post it and then we can start mass emailing it.

here we go again, I just read yesterday where dan little is calling for a protest on 9/11 Mark has called for something on the 17th and now the 27th date is floated by folks on this site.
folks it seems as if there are a lot of people that agree that something needs to be done but everyone is just picking a date out of the air and announcing it without any thought of nationwide ORGANIZING!!!!

this is exactly why NONE of the protests have worked before and it is also why the good people that want to do something are losing heart.

you all are trying to eat the dessert without baking the cake or even putting the recipe together.

now with 3 different dates going what is going to happen is nothing as people are going to just ignore all of them.

we lost the chance to unite everyone together last april when everyone was primed and ready to do something by so many people throwing different dates and ideas out to the public without any of the groups that people were listening to even trying to organize and unite their small groups into one LARGE group that would have a chance of really getting the job done!!!

this kind of non plan to unite is working against everyones interest as we all are just proving the old saying that you cannot get two truckers to agree on anything.:banghead:

Not trying to argue jammer, but the call to action thread has nothing to do with protesting at the state capitols, I will go on the us cattle haulers and see if i can find out anything there on a protest.
