New to the forum. Came here hoping to find an answer or at least pointed in the right direction. I have a 2006 Peterbilt 335 with a 8.3 Cummins motor in it. I bought the truck used. I need to replace the coolant hose that comes off the block (passenger side bottom) and attaches to the hose coming off the bottom of the radiator. I'm guessing there is either a metal coolant pipe or a plastic coolant piece that connects the hose off the block to the hose off of the radiator. Not sure. There isn't much space between the block and the frame at that location so its gonna be a really tight / curved bend of some sort. Whoever had the truck before me joined the 2 hoses with muffler pipe. It works, but the bend in the muffler pipe isn't at the correct angle, so every few months I'm having to replace the 6 inch piece of hose off the block because it's wearing out because its at such a bad angle. I've been by my local Peterbilt dealer, and they can't find any diagrams to help me out or get me started. So before I start going to heavy duty salvage yards trying to search and find it, I'm hoping maybe someone on here can help me. Or if anyone has this setup currently, just take a pic and send it to me and I'll take that to the dealer to get a replacement. This truck is a manual transmission truck and I believe those hoses are different than whats on an automatic tranny truck. I have a 2005 Pete 335 with an auto tranny and the hose routing is different than whats on the truck in question. Tks
