I understand what you're saying, but I would at least carry a couple gallons of water. Blowing a hose on the highway is never good, you may be able to limp it off the highway and avoid a service call. My two cents

I blow a hose, that's over 14 gallons of coolant I'll need to replace.

I replace the hoses on a more regular basis. Ensures not having road break downs.

I carried Lucas fifth wheel grease but really only used it before I left out. I kept my trailer at an empty lot so I was greasing every week or two depending on how long I stayed out. I liked the Lucas product but it was much more loose than grease so it had potential to be sloppy if I didn’t use it sparingly.

I carried a couple gallons of premixed, spare belts, alternator, air regulator, one each of fuel filters (I have two), trailer air lines, glad hands and gaskets, tools, air hose for airing up tires, electrical tape, duct tape, solder and mini torch. That’s all I can think of right now.

I absolutely love the Lucas fifth wheel lube. I check my fifth wheel every time I drop n hook. I average 4-6 weeks between applications. I bought the bottle back in December only about half gone. I also swear by their oil conditioner. It’s good stuff, no dry starts better oil pressure.
