2019 860 hood latches, cab & bunk heat/air

The company that we drive for took delivery of 25 2019 860s. In almost every one of these trucks, the cab & bunk heat/air works off and on. There's no pattern, rhyme or reason what causes it to work or not work. Anybody have any luck figuring out what the problem is? It can't just be our trucks... Also, the hood latch release under the steering wheel keeps hanging up or downright breaking on these trucks. We have to reach up under the hood to release it. Anybody having that problem or know how to fix it?

You'd think they would've redesigned that hood latch by now. I drive a 2013 Volvo that had the same prob. But it has since been fixed.

Guy said it just gets stuck for some reason and you have to use some quality long lasting chain type lube which he gave me and told me to apply from time to time.

No problem popping the hood for several months now. Gl
