2.5 MILLION TRUCKERS WILL QUIT OVER VACCINE MANDATE IF BIDEN DOESN’T REVERSE COURSE – RIGHT SIDE BROADCASTING NETWORK (RSBN)

You got that right, there are currently 3.6 miIllion CDL holder in the US.
of those I would guess at least 25% are either farmers, or retired but still keep their CDL
For arguments sake the article would seem to say that 2/3 of the active drivers would quit. 🤣🤣

it would be nice if BRANDON believed it, that would probably scare the hell out of him and the democrats!!

if he and the demoncrats were to believe that BS and though for five seconds about the fallout that it would bring I am positive that there would be no more mandates for anyone

I predict 7 will quit. Because they're nearing retirement anyway. And I don't mean percent. Just 7.
I think the number will be significantly higher than that.

The Riverside health care system based in Kankakee, IL consists of a hospital and more off-location doctors offices, labs and physical therapy places than I can count. One building just for the vagina doctors, another building for cancer docs, another one for orthopedics, etc.

Thousands of employees.

They put out a mandate that said all employees must be vaccinated by Nov 1st.

They refused to accept religious exemptions and only a very select few medical exemptions. And they did not give them the option of weekly tests like Biden did. They're even more communist than Biden.

The labor shortages began almost immediately, as long time employees started using up their vacation and sick days.

They lost about 45% of their employees and that's not just janitors and kitchen staff, it's nurses, CNAs and even quite a few doctors left.

When you call any clinic in the system, before you even hear the "press one for this, press two for that" stuff, it plays a message saying they're hiring for multiple positions. And there are "now hiring" brochures at every check-in counter & in all the waiting rooms. 🤣

Aren't they unionized? I do know they exist in that profession.

Organizing truck drivers is like herding cats and most don't even have the balls to stand up to a single dispatcher.

I don't know about Riverside but they are union at St Joseph in Joliet. There's stickers on the doors that say they're union.

pfftt...just like all the talk about quitting when the CDL was enacted..

like all them blowhards walking off the jobs, is gonna materialize, now like back then.

truckers are the biggest crybabies if there ever was any.

not to mention nearly none stand together, once they walk away from the lunch counter, or hang up the cb mic for the night.

I watched a 60 year old man let a dispatcher his son's age scold him like a child and tell him to go back inside the building when he (the driver) tried to help me argue a point about driving. He walked inside literally with his head down.

The same driver would bluster up a storm out in the yard among drivers. 30 years of experience, former owner operator, yadda yadda yadda.

That's when I knew every decision I make is mine and mine alone. That was probably also what turned me off of unsolicited advice, especially from drivers I didn't know or barely knew.

Ya man. Where I work and every where that I have worked it was always is always the older guys that just do what they are told. Like they are lucky to have a job or something.
Times have changed, the younger guys don't give as much of a fuck.
Hey I walked in here looking for a job and I can walk out of here looking for a job!

Yeah I always look at it like I'm actually being underpaid by an employer because they're still profiting off my efforts. So they're the lucky ones.

I'd probably be of a different mind if I was actually incompetent.

When dispatch is like hey I got another load for you..
No ya don't.
Hey I am not going to be in on Thursday.
But you have to be here Thursday.
Oh you thought I was asking, I was actually telling you that I am not going to be in Thursday, This was a courtesy call. Not up for negotiation.

Employees of all industries whine and bitch all the time. Plumbers, electricians, pipefitters, office desk jockeys, nurses, postal employees,.. everyone.

Even airline pilots, who have one of the coolest jobs in the world, whine and bitch all the time.

Add a union to the job and they whine and bitch even more.

Everyone is underpaid and overworked. No matter how much they're paid.
