07 Pete 386 Guages not working after changing batteries

We changed the batteries on 07 Pete 386. Dash lights and gauges come on when turning ignition on, but go off when we start the truck. It has dashes all across the panel, and the truck starts right up.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you missed a ground link somewhere.

Sounds like the typical brain fart mine has at times. Try turning the key on just long enough for the computer to register, I usually wait till it stops dinging and then turn it off, do this three times and then start it and see what happens. Mine will be gauges one time, then another time the dash lights won't work, etc. My 2012 was the same way. If that doesn't work I would be checking fuses next. And of course like regulator said, I would double check to make sure I got all the battery wires reconnected correctly.
