New Trend in "What Makes Men Happy?"

Well, sometimes I think a man looks for is SUPPORT . Neither financial , nor out of sympathy. But unconditional moral support.
Women do the same thing. Having the support of someone you value is very important. It helps you function and make better decisions. We all need someone to lean on sometimes.

That’s a large part of it. A man doesn’t want to be brow beaten or ignored.

Thats actually where I sit.

She openly admits she didn’t join the bra burning crowd, and thinks a woman’s place is supporting a healthy household, raising kids, cooking and support.

She expects I will work, chop firewood, etc - and do all tasks that nature prescribed by my superior (to hers) physical strength.

On the odd occasions I doubt myself, she offers support - “Honey, I know you can do it, you always prevail “.

That’s all it takes for me to get after it again - just a little support.

Brow beaten and harassed - nope. Won’t take it. She’s the reins when I need it, and the boot in ass when I deserve it.

I like your wife. She sounds like she's got her head on straight and your household is happy. Some good news. I like it!

But it wasn't always like that. Remember when she was painting a still life of lasagna when you were leaving Kansas with Old Dominion? She was critical of your driving because her water colors weren't mixing.

You retreated back to your Maori roots. It was until I suggested to Gretchy pants to cook a hāngī and do it justice that you became close again.

Well, I’ll give credit where it’s due - you did save our marriage.

Your suggestion of cutting the floorboards out of the truck to install the driveshaft powered hangi below her easel to assist in faster paint drying time sure did bring happiness to our whare on wheels.

That, and the fact she finally adopted the bone in the nose as our signature look as team drivers.
